Rest day back in Bangkok: Back to Bangkok
Again, not sure of the plan, but we left as the day before at about 11. We stopped at some roadside stalls for Patrick to get a sticky rice in a Bamboo stick. Rachel looked to buy the mortar and pestle that are specific to Chonburi. Krasin's wife helped with the negotiations.
On the way out of town, we stopped at a Tesco and ate at the food court. It is about a 2 hour drive back to the city and we stop at the weekend market. The traffic and parking are unbelievable!! But Krasin does it and we wonder around the market. His wife leads us. Rachel finds blue thai silk material for Jo O'Connor and more chopsticks as souvenirs.
It is close to 6pm when we left and after dinner, Krasin drops us off at his apartment and we stay in for the rest of the evening.
