Day four rest day in Yarrawonga
Thursday 10 May.
Rest day in Yarrawonga.
A cold front was crossing Victoria and it was cool with showers. Emily's friend Don had suggested that we visit Burke's Hotel for a meal as the food was good and not terribly expensive. We arrived at lunch time and found it very well patronised by the local senior citizens, an excellent sign. We liked the meal so much that we returned that evening for dinner.

The weather report. There is a large high centered over the Great Australian Bight causing a series of cold fronts to pass below it and squeeze northward into Victoria. Some of these bring rain and all provide strong, cold southerly winds which affected our riding on several days. Now back home on 23 May the forecast is for the high to remain until 25 May at least.
