We drove out some distance to what seemed like a random spot and got on the bikes and rode to Cu Chi where they had a section of the old tunnel system to view. Sorry no pics. Apparently up to 16000 people lived underground.  Then back to Saigon. Did I mention it is hot and humid?

There are 9 participants, the English speaking guide,  a mechanic who rides along and two bicycle and baggage guys. The mechanic is a real cyclist I'm told who wins events in his age group, 50+.  The other participants are from England Scotland and Ireland.
