At Changkran Roy
I don't believe I have mentioned how hot it is. The daily high is 33C or 93F.
Srun tells me it is only 70km 40mi to Changkran Roy but it takes well over two hours to get there. We are too late to see the morning birds. The road is so bad we can only inch along in places.
They have built what the English call a hide and we call a blind. It is very rustic. We did see a few species before lunch. Things were better in the afternoon and quite busy after 4 PM. Only the Siamese Firebacks came for the food. Many others came to bathe.
It was a productive day in terms of seeing forest birds that are hard to find.
It was a very late arrival at the hotel at 8. In Cambodia, 120 species and 60 new life list species.
