feb 06/08- on the beach in Ban Krut

Ban Krut us an ideal place for beach bumming. Not too crowded but there are always local people and farangs to watch. The farang clientel is mostly retired Germans and Dutch staying for the wintertime but it is far from being crowded. Thais company groups come here by tour buses to have a swim and karaoke in the evening. Weekends can be busy.

For tomorrow the forcast promises the first days of southern winds since weeks. Time to leave, it may be the last chance to have a nice and stable headwind. 56 k to seafood heaven- Ban Boed.

One would never expect a huge variety of wonderful dishes in a place like this.

You rarely encounter fat cows in Thailand. Normally they are skin and bones and have just one bird for company.
