The Secret Seven becomes The Famous Five again

It had been a special family time particularly as we don’t live in the same countries but Saturday was the day for Jacob and Veronica to fly to Barcelona and the rest of us to get a bus to Bilbao where we would spend the weekend

A final walk through the streets of beautiful San Sebastián, coffee and tostada and we were on the bus for the lovely ride to Bilbao. We were staying in a very comfortable apartment which was located on the metro and at the end of the tram line. That makes it easy to get off at the right stop! I had thought that Bilbao was located on the coast but of course it is on the river which winds its way down the valley. The weather wasn’t the best and I was wondering about the Andersons cycling to Santander but here is a snipit of what we did

I was so looking forward to seeing the Puppy at the Guggenheim but it was being replanted and this is what we saw!

It was the day of the last match of the year for the local football team so our football fans of course had to go

The had to buy Basque hats to support the local team
