I've been wanting to camp on Angel Island since I moved to the San Francisco Bay area about 5 years ago. So three weeks ago I reserved a campsite, invited my friend Ricky (aka Erika) to join me, and then set about praying to the weather gods to be kind to our endeavor.

The trip is just an overnight-er but I thought it might be a place that others might like to visit as a side trip as they ride through San Francisco on other tours.

It will be Ricky's first "tour" and camping trip. So it should be a fun time on all accounts.
