Holed up in Sankt Veit

The weather forecast was amazingly accurate. It rained all day non-stop. We only left our room three times: When we made a made a mad dash for the hotel restaurant in the morning, at noon and in the evening. The hotel, Hotel Posauner, wasn't a bad place for spending a rest day. The beds were excellent and our room was spacious and pleasant, and it was on the ground floor, too. Unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant was not excellent. I wasn't looking for gourmet meals, but the quality of the food was somehow below par.

I took lots of little naps and otherwise spent much time studying the weather predictions. No trains from where we were now, the only option was forward!
