Day 5 - Concord to Wilmot
Picked up the Northern Rail Trail a few miles north of Concord after a late morning start. Took breaks at the Daniel Webster farm, Franklin, and the Potter Place RR station. It was a great day and I ran into plenty of cyclists, e-bikers, runners, and one guy on an electric unicycle. Found a tent site in Wilmot, NH as it got dark.
All told, a relatively uneventful day. Staying on a rail trail has lots of benefits, but it can become a bit monotonous in the green tunnel.
Tomorrow I have my first ever Warmshowers stay! It’s in Lebanon; a short 35 miles down the line.
