Thrompsberg to Bloomfontein to Winburg

We camp 40 km south of Bloomfontine 36.9 km. There was a significant rainstorm throughout the night.

The Strauss family welcomes us, and we take two rest days. They show us around the city. They also contact a friend of theirs about letting us stay with them.

The family sees us off as our next goal is Johannesburg in 6 days.

20 km south of Winburg (99.3km) we stop at a farm and ask to camp. He is the friend of the Bloomfontein family we stayed with. He takes us around his farm by truck.

A worker is in the back of truck, when we reach a gate, the worker has to hop out open the gate, close the gate and hop back onto the truck....the truck doesn't stop while he's doing all this.
