Cyclists on an Ostrich

Caliztdorp with the Swart family. We stopped for a break by a butcher shop. The butcher invites us to go to their house in the back for a swim and a braai. A braai by a butcher, doesn't get better than this.

We get to ride an Ostrich. Hold onto the wings.

From Calizdorp we cycle to De Rust (39km). We get up early because of the heat. The desert becomes undulating hills as we cycle through the Swartsborg Range to Willomore (111.5km) The next day the mountains give way to bluffs and vast valleys and we arrive to Graaf-Reinet (57km).

We take two rest days to see more of the town and to clean/repair the bikes.
