Day 99 Columbus, OH

We made it back to Columbus today. It seems appropriate that we ended our summer trip on a day that felt almost like fall. It was in the 50's this morning. Team A was nice enough to agree to wait until 10AM to leave the hotel so Team S wouldn't freeze. It turned out to be a beautiful day to ride.
We used more of Ohio's very good trail system. The Heart of Ohio Trail runs from Mt. Vernon to Centerburg.
We rode past these structures which we thought might be a fire training facility. It is actually a former glass factory (PPG) adapted as a park and recreational area.

Then we had pleasant back roads until we got to two more trails which took us to Westerville.
Here we met Marty and Geoff, who led us through the urban maze back to their house in Columbus.
It felt wonderful to get to their home and know that we were finished with Two Far 2018. We didn't celebrate with champagne toasts or cake and ice cream. We celebrated like this:
Today's ride: 51 miles (82 km)
Total: 4,512 miles (7,261 km)
