Day 99 Columbus, OH

We made it back to Columbus today.  It seems appropriate that we ended our summer trip on a day that felt almost like fall.  It was in the 50's this morning.  Team A was nice enough to agree to wait until 10AM to leave the hotel so Team S wouldn't freeze.  It turned out to be a beautiful day to ride.

We used more of Ohio's very good trail system.  The Heart of Ohio Trail runs from Mt. Vernon to  Centerburg.

We rode past these structures which we thought might be a fire training facility.  It is actually a former glass factory (PPG) adapted as a park and recreational area.

I declined Kerry's offer to stop and climb this tower.

Then we had pleasant back roads until we got to two more trails which took us to Westerville.

Here we met Marty and Geoff, who led us through the urban maze back to their house in Columbus.

Rich McKaySo... how many days does it take to recover from a tour like this before you're ready to get your bike back out and go for a ride?
