RT 66 Day 29-Sub 1K

We spent last night camping on Arcadia Lake, just east of OKC. Nice night with a lake view, sunset and moon rise.

Today’s ride was tough. Long, hilly and windy. This stretch RT 66 was mostly two lane with little or no shoulder and heavy traffic. It was not our favorite day riding but we did drop down to less than 1,000 ft elevation, which we haven’t seen since leaving the west coast.

Bethany WallKnew this look familiar... I've gotten barn stamps in the past... that's where I'd seen a barn like this (maybe not this very one, but a version of it). If link doesn't work, google "USPS barn stamps"

The map of RT 66 on top of a local Convenience store. Seems like Chicago is still far down the road, but actually about 850 miles away. We’re getting there. Tulsa on Tuesday.
