Nam Nao National Park Day 2
A day mostly spent birding or relaxing.
Birding was moderately fruitful with a few lifers, none of which I was able to photograph, and lots of birds we have seen in the past. Unfortunately it was a dull grey day again so photography in the gloom of the forest was difficult with very slow shutter speeds the order of the day.

The biggest impediment was the plague of leeches that kept us out of the more interesting parts of the forest. By the time I stopped to take precautions against them I had twelve of the little suckers latched onto my feet. We gave up and stuck to birding from the road network.

Tomorrow we head out westwards towards Petchabun (which we will only reach in two day's time) but we plan to get some early morning birding done before we hit the road.
