Last day on the coast!

Neptune Beach to Yulee

Scott is Amy's brother and he lives in the guesthouse.

We are heading up to Amelia Island today

We took the Mayport Ferry.

Cindy and Debbie paid our fare! We were walking on and the ferry worker said you two are taken care of! Who? She pointed to Cindy's car. We talked with them the whole way across the water. What a couple of sweeties!

Soon we were across the water

That's Cindy and Debbie in the car.

We got off last so we didn't slow down the cars.

Riding up the island we stopped here in this area to use the toilet.

Swamplands

Great bike paths most of the day

Very windy crossing onto Amelia Island

Very nice area

Wayne and Linda are our hosts tonight. They came to pick us up to bring west into Yulee becaue of the construction going on right now. For some reason they have closed off the sidewalks. They are widening the road so the shoulders are gone and you have to claim the lane or get a ride through. It will take two years for the project to be finished.

Wayne built Winsor chairs and furniture. He is also a great cook! He made us chicken cacciatore and risotto for dinner. it was delicious.
