Another OMBT was in the books, and as we used to say when I worked advance trips for the US Secret Service: "Despite all our best efforts, it still all fell into place." That was actually the last time the OMs got together for a tour - an attempt in 2004 or so fell apart and resulted in just John doing a 4 day ride across southern PA to Cumberland MD.

Lake Champlain and Burlington VT are great places to bike - in 2007 or so my wife and I stayed a few days in Burlington and biked to Isle La Motte and the Ruthcliffe Lodge, stayed overnight and biked back to Burlington. We are returning to Burlington this year with our daughter/son in law/grandson and will get to bike on the Island Line Trail and take advantage of the ferry.
