Off to Napier
Just in case you haven’t figured it out the dates are NZ time not Canada time so a day ahead from home. We played golf yesterday so today was a cycle day. We rode all the way on bike path or trail to Napier and back. We met up with Derek and Linda where the trail from Taradale (where they live) meets the trail from Havelock North. Once in Napier we stopped for a soft drink or coffee at place right on the trail. On the way back we popped into town for a little retail therapy since Katamandu has much of its winter stuff on sale. After that we rode back to Havelock North into a head wind most of the way. The day was a perfect temperature for a nice ride.
