Today, Brian and I biked to Estrecho del Rio Magdalena, Parque Arquelogico Los Idiolos around San Agustin.

Finally, I seem to be getting some idea why Colombianos respetar bicis y ciclistas.

Angelo is a bike mechanic in San Agustin and avid cyclist. His tienda is filled with medals from races he's ridden in.

Andres makes best pan de yuca, Arepas de arracacha, agua panels. Also an avid ciclista.

Julio, una abogado with whom I started conversing in Spanish and became friends with at El Parque arquelogico de San Agustin is also an avid cyclista.

I have seen young kids, men, women of all ages on cycles. In a way, it looks like todo Colombianos ride cycles or have once. Hence that familiarity, care, respect and kind heart towards us, gringos.
