Around to Uhldingen, with an uphill visit on the way.
Oh, that was all uphill apparently:)
Day 6: Radolfzell - Uhldingen
Another sunny warm day.

Nobody warned us that there was a climb soon after leaving Radolfzell! Phew. Quite the warmup, but I suppose that any travel inland from a lake has to have some uphill!
Lots of nice areas along the ride.
I had some navigation issues due to the Wahoo bike computer and phone overheating in the bike map pouch. Then I used only the Wahoo on the mount. No problems.

We added a long climb at the end of the day to see a big palace near Salem. We were tired upon arrival, but did happily glide much of the way back. We didn’t realize that we were on long false flats going up, but we’re happy to discover them on the way down.
Then we visited the Pfahlbauten replica of the prehistoric village that had been unearthed in the area.
Another lovely dinner on the patio, this time with a sunset over the lake.
In Unteruhldingen our hotel Knaus room was small, but we realized that we don’t care due to not being there much. And… the breakfast was fantastic. I was too busy eating for any action photos unfortunately.
Here’s a random finding - we would often see a type of privacy fence made of caged gravel. Kind of odd I think, but interesting.
Today's ride: 57 km (35 miles)
Total: 188 km (117 miles)
