Oaklands to Finley

After yesterdays hot, long ride todays treadle was comparatively easy.

We only planned to go 62km as far as Finley because we don’t need to be in Deniliquin for the scholarship launch event until Saturday.

We didn’t depart Oaklands until about 9am and arrived in the small town of Berrigan by 11.30am. Compared to Oaklands, Berrigan has a lot more retail and looks to be a thriving town.

After a coffee break there we pushed onto Finley only an hour or so along the road. Part of the ride was on The Riverina Highway which was noticeably busier than the backroads we were on yesterday.

This mornings scenery was a sample of the agricultural diversity the Riverina is famous for
