Day 2 Glengariff to Killarney
It was another beautiful day albeit a little cool to start but lovely afternoon temperatures. We had 2 lovely climbs over gaps in the mountains followed by even better descents. We crossed from County Cork into County Kerry at the top of the first climb. The scenery was beautiful and the roads fairly quiet until we got close to Killarney. At the top of the 2nd climb through Molls Gap I had a lovely bowl of very hot butternut squash soup and a scone, it was perfect. We missed a turn in Killarney but that was ok because we ended up cruising through the town and seeing the sites. This hotel has a bonus, a laundromat right next door. I am in the hotel bar righting this blog and the accents here are really quite thick.
