Sac and Fox Trail
Today came close to being a rain day but fortunately we decided to ride on despite the conditions. As our Aunt and Uncle had come over from Ohio to ride with us, the Sac and Fox Trail fit the bill for a shorter ride as well as a hopeful ride along the river.

The trail is a typical crushed limestone surface and we were able to see several whitetail deer, one turkey, and a few small critters as well. We also got to experience some rain and we kept joking that we wanted our relatives to have the full experience between trail surface, rain, clouds and even a little rumbling of thunder.

One trail closure did greet us but we were able to bypass it and ride the whole trail. We also did a short visit to the Indian Creek Nature Center which was nicely done. Tomorrow we will probably aim for some pavement instead to round out their short visit.
