In Tournus: hike to La Truchere-Ratanelle
While I was biking over to Cluny and back, Rachael took it easy with a 13 and a half mile hike to a park on the opposite side of the river that she’d read up on. Most of the hike was on the greenway beside the river there and back, which she gave only a lukewarm review to - monotonous, no shade, too hot. She was very enthusiastic about the park itself though, and says that folks in the area should know about it and add it to their plans. From the photos she brought back with her, I can see her point.
