Greetings! Welcome to our tour journal for the Lake Michigan Circle Tour.

We are Stan, Amy, Mike, Loretta and Dave of the Kenosha and Racine, Wisconsin area. On July 14-15, we will begin our adventure of riding the circumference of Lake Michigan on our bikes. We expect our trip to be about 16 days with one rest day at about the half-way point. Estimated total mileage is somewhere between 1,000 and 1,100 miles.  As we travel, we hope to post pictures, updates on our progress, and reflections on events and sights of the day. 

This is primarily a self-supported bike-camping tour, but we will have some hotel stays and a support car available along the way. Lots more to say as we roll along — about this Great Lake, and about biking, friendship, and living life to the full.
