Theme from Gilligan's Island

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,

A tale of a long-planned trip.

Lake Michigan will be on our right 

As we make our way around.

The trip will be fifteen pedaling days

One rest day - don't you know.

Five cyclists will haul themselves

On a two week tour.

The City of New Orleans

Riding 'round the lovely lake near our house

Michigan shoreline slowly passes near.

On five bikes begin five dauntless riders,

Fresh  components and thirty-five pounds of gear.

Glide along the clockwise odyssey,

The crew pedals through Milwaukee.

Rolls past houses, farms and fields,

Riding roads we have not seen,

And campgrounds full of soggy tents,

While the highways lead to AirBnB's.
