Day 10 - Fair Haven to Granville
This was a short day. I was going to be picked up on Saturday to join some friends in Albany and was still fatigued from yesterday’s effort. So I targeted Granville as a place to get a hotel room, rest, eat, and shower.
Gravel bike path for much of the day through the VT/NY “Slate Valley” which is a region I’d never heard of before. I crossed the state line on the path even.
Rolled up to the Sheldon Mansion B&B around 3pm and had a restful evening in the gorgeous building. It is apparently the only red slate building in the world and had an enormous porch to read and relax on. Picked up Chinese for dinner and called it an early night
