Day 7- Neuenberg am Rhein

bWe left Laufenberg Germany and rode to Neuenberg am Rhein with a short stretch through Switzerland near Basel. We are now generally heading north for a few days with our next stop in Strasbourg France for 2 nights. The weather was perfect for cycling even though one of our Californian participants was dressed like I do in winter. Patti and I were in our usual shorts and jersey. There were a few U turns again today but nothing that got us into serious trouble. We did have a lovely quick lunch stop in a park in Basel and then an early dinner. I had Spätzle with Käse, basically Mac and cheese, it was delicious. I am taking an easy evening because we have another 100+km day tomorrow.

We have passed many of these fields. I am told it is wheat.

These ferries cross the Rhine tethered to a cable but the only power is from the current.

As if we did not get enough exercise riding we came across a fitness station so we had a go.

We are finally seeing some Eurovelo 15 signs.
