Brousse le Château

VToday we rode clockwise from Plaisance to Brousse Le Château still in the Tarn valley.  It was the usual start but then we turned east along the Tarn alone fairly flat roads until we reached the lovely village of Brousse Le Château.  It is very old village with stone walled buildings that date back to the 14th century.  The photos will explain more.  We had a lovely picnic stop there before returning to Plaisance.  The return included a 9km climb that averaged about 4% with section of 2% but also 6%.  It wasn’t a too bad except the very sunny sections where it was pretty hot.    The upside was an equally long downhill sections back to Plaisance that made the climb worth it.  During the entire 18 km of up and down I doubt that we saw 10 cars.  If you like quiet country road riding this is the place for you.

The route and profile for today but we had a little WAA time as well.
