Today I headed North from the Fanjing Mountain entrance along the X585. It's quiet mountain pass that ascents 1000 metres.

On the other side of the mountain, Power China is constructing a new road parallel to the old one. When I aimed for the old road, a pedestrian shouted at me to take the new one. I was worried that it's private.

But a few kilometres further the mystery was solved: Power China built a dam across the river and the old road. Those guys saved me a lot of hassle.
