Finally some backroads

On Sunday I met a Chinese woman through couch surfing, just to get a sense of modern life in China.

On Monday I followed the most direct bicycle route between Tongren and Huaihua, according to Baidu Maps. Most of it was fairly quiet backroads. There was even an unpaved mountain pass.

Yesterday I washed my clothes in the hotel bathroom, but they were still moist. Today I hung them in the sun while having lunch.
