Rouen to Bayeux
After an easy drive to Bayeux we parked downtown and headed for the UNESCO listed 1000 year old Bayeux tapestry.
It was like a 1000 year old freeze frame movie. The audio guide describe what was happening in each of the scenes as you walked along the 230ft of story. The main events are depicted at the top with a small section at the bottom for extras. Some of the early extras including some naked people in various poses. I assume this was to keep the peasant interested until we got to the battle scenes later in the movie.
We walked around the pretty downtown section of Bayuex and by the time we were done our airbnb was ready. We checked in and Kathy went for a get-lag catch up while I went around to the local free car parking and did a pre assembled on our Tamdem Dorthy. I would still need to pull her apart to get her back in the car but I wanted to make sure we had all the bits before Maddie left Denver and we did.

That night we went out to grab some dinner only to find the crepe place recommended by our host was closed. We walked around town and checked out the options and then decided to try the other crepe place even without a recommendation. They were packed being one of the few restaurants open in town but they did a great job and the food was delicious.
