The bikes came later than we expected and then we enjoyed a spontaneous, six-day spring tour, all of which has put us behind schedule. We're just not ready to leave tomorrow, the planned date. Setting dates two months in advance isn't always a good idea.

We now have the tickets and sleeper reservations in our pockets for the night train to Florence on Tuesday, April 21st and will arrive in time for a very early morning cappucino.

I don't expect that we will be updating the journal from the road. Possibly there will be no more news until some time in mid-May when we return.

So it' five more days and we will be off for bella Italia. Ciao!
