Den Oever - Schoorl
We are blessed with another sunny day. When we wake up in the morning, the fly of our tent is always covered with dew and condensation. We shake off as much of the moisture as we can but it basically remains wet until we set up camp in the evening. Once the tent is up, it dries very quickly.
The beginning of today's ride takes us through some small towns but later becomes uneventful as we pedal past giant fields of cabbage. In the afternoon we finally reach the Atlantic coast. The area between two rows of sweeping dunes much resembles a valley. We are cycling close to the sea but only get glimpses of it when we follow the paths or boardwalks over the dunes to the beach.

Today again camping and cooking. The camping ground is a farm camping, not as idyllic as the last, but serves our purpose. We scrounge around and discover some discarded, wobbly chairs and a table which add a luxurious touch to our site.
Today's ride: 54 km (34 miles)
Total: 1,682 km (1,045 miles)
