Gunnago
It was time to say goodbye to Hettie and Mark today. It has been wonderful staying with them. We've done iur own thing during the days but have spent the evenings chatting away with them on a range of subjects. Their kindness is something that we will always remember.

After stocking up at the local Woolworths we took the slowest route out, hugging the shoreline until just before Cannonvale. Here we headed for the local bike shop for a replacement computer.
Then it was an easy ride back to tge Bruce Highway via Strathdickie. We're in a caravan park about nine kilometers up the Bruce, squeezed between the highway and the narrow guage sugarcane railway line.
We head up the Bruce to Bowen tomorrow. With time on our hands, we might spend two nights there.
Today's ride: 31 km (19 miles)
Total: 3,778 km (2,346 miles)
