Trabzon
Not much to say today. A long bus ride arriving in Trabzon at about nine o'clock this morning. Thankfully the bus wasn't too full so we had space to stretch out and sleep a bit but obviously not enough because we slept most of this afternoon too.
The bicycles emerged without any obvious injuries from the bowels of the bus. I refitted the pedals, front wheels, mirror, bike computer and lights and we walked across the road to one of the many restaurants lined up in a row opposite the bus terminal.
Then we cycled off to a hotel close by that we had picked up on Google. But in the wrong direction! We clearly weren't fully awake. Thankfully the hotel had a place for the bicycles and let us check in a few hours early.
Tomorrow we head off eastwards along the coast towards Georgia. Or maybe not. We have a day or so in hand so we might find some diversion.
