Not Exactly a Rail Trail...
After leaving Custer this morning, we arrived in Sioux Falls mid-after noon. Just in time for a short ride on the outstanding Sioux Falls Greenway. The 19.5 mile loop depicted below links 11 city parks and runs parallel for a good portion along the Big Sioux River. Sioux Falls has done an outstanding job with this trail. One of the most appreciated features...no road crossings for the entire length!
Tomorrow morning we head into Minnesota to begin riding 5 trails some of which have been included in the Rail Trail Hall of Fame. Can't wait.
