Just wanting to share...Bicycling Rocks

Rachel and Patrick Hugens

Nothing really to discuss, just wanting to share our signs in the garden.

The bicycle sign is from friends who are motocycling South America in sections. The Rocks sign is from our neighbor Virgil Rock..

Together, they send a message that Bicycling Rocks.

Adding Virgil Rocks (our neighbor) sign to Bicycle sign from friends.

Several of us on CycleBlaze are both bicycle tourists and Geologists - so for those folks (myself included), this is a pretty cool message with multiple meanings!  Gee whiz, now I want one too...

And the juxtaposition will appeal to cycle-touring geologists. :)
I usually include at least one photo per journal, for any rock-hound, geology types.

Limestone bluffs along the Katy Trail somewhere west of Jefferson City MO have stories to tell, of cyclical changes in the environment many millions of years ago.
Next three photos: the aftermath of massive volcanic activity lingers in central Oregon.

Locals call this Rainbow Ridge.  Located in the Alaskan Range about 50 south of Delta Junction.
