As far as I know, there’s no option once they’ve been inserted into the journal other than deleting and reading them. Hopefully I’m wrong, and I’ll learn something I didn’t know here.
It appears you are correct. I uploaded pics on the road just to get them beyond my phone with the idea of reordering them now that I am home. I can't see a way to reorder other than deleting and uploading again.
I've used cut (delete) and paste. You have to use the paste icon in the middle of the floating toolbar (between link and undo). This preserves the caption.
Really? That works for you? I’m sure I’ve tried that before without success, but I’ll try again. Maybe it’s an iPad compatibility issue.
I do my on-road journaling with an iPad Mini so that's what I would have used. I upload the photos from the iPad itself so maybe that's the difference; you can't do it with embedded files like RWGPS maps. In fact, sometimes cutting and pasting the photos causes the map to disappear...
However, if you are uploading photos from an online storage, I'd like to know how to do that so I can add in some of Al's photos.
Sounds to me like we use the same approach. I upload everything from my iPad also. If I want to include photos from another device, I transfer them to the iPad first, using either a Google Photos or PhotoSync. The cut/paste issue must be one of those incompetence thingies that I’m well familiar with. I’ll have to experiment.
Bonjour Michel,
Michel
Oh, my gosh. I’m so happy to be proven wrong. What a relief! Who knows why I had trouble with this before, but it works fine.
Hello,
How can I re arrange the picture order into my CycleBlaze journal ?
