Hi. I'm planning a trip across Victoria starting on the Great Southern Rail Trail which seems to come to an abrupt end at Port Welshpool. Using Komoot I have managed to link it to Traralgon on the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail. This passes through Yarram and then takes a seemingly steep route along a single lane road to Traralgon. I think it's called Bulga Park road. Can anyone add any insight into this route on a fully loaded touring bike? It seems an obvious thing to do but I can't find any reference to it, which worries me.

AFAICR you don't mind riding on roads so an alternative would be to ride along the A1 which has a lot  of shoulders suitable for cycling to Sale then Mafra where you can access the Gippsland Plains Trail. See our journal.
