The first journal I did I was able to figure everything out ,This last journal was a steeper learning curve.I was able to fiddle with it and  have the light bulb go on (Oh that's how that works).

I can't figure how to end the journal so the site stops counting days,and ends the journal.I'm sure it's a simple thing that I'm missing.

To enter the End Date of a journal, start at the home page for the journal.

Click EDIT.

Click EDIT SETTINGS.

Specify the END DATE.

Check "this is a minor edit" and click SAVE.
