What a great photo! The hole in the door is very neat too.
Hi Steve. The hole in the door was where a plastic vent was which I was able to force out - you can see it lying on the right on the picture. To make matters worse, after crawling out I discovered we had left some toiletries in the bathroom and I had to climb back into the bathroom and out again by the same tiny hole to retrieve them!
Hi,
It was probably foolish to cycle down the Rhône valley with the Mistral blowing, but once underway no need to pedal hard, and very difficult to stop!
Cheers,
Keith
Great question. I'll keep it to three times my ability to pedal a bike competently came into question.
1. Second day on my first tour on Prince Edward Island, was setting up the panniers and rack back. Used a bungee cord to secure rack bag. Started to pedal off for the day's adventure when bike stopped after not even a full second. I had bungeed through the back wheel.
2. Used my Hoo Ha Ride Glide (for ladies only) as sunscreen.
3. After Tour No. 1, was home unpacking the Blackburn panniers when I noticed a zipper with the bag cover. Yep, both bags had a lot more room because the flap unzipped for more storage.
Actually I think you could add cycling 160 km in a day to the foolish list! There could not be much time to stop and smell the roses at that pace?
