2 years agoDo bikes wait in line to enter Yellowstone? Or can they jump to the head?
2 years agoHi Jeff - Probably the nicest day - even with the dust.
2 years agoYeah, Jeff - But I wasn't foolish enough to do Reas Pass trail again, either.

Reith Road! We biked this seven years ago, in March. Astonishing to see it so green in June.
2 years agoBeautiful. I think this is the best photo from Stonehenge I’ve ever seen.

I'm glad to see that it's still in business.
Sounded like you had a great day!

The bench, the phone booth, the shade tree - that's a proper general store.
2 years agoI didn't think it was Indian Paintbrush - because of the florets.
But two people in town said it was.
It's definitely Firecracker Penstemon. Thanks!
We have found surprising little pockets of affordable food this trip. I'm sure the locals appreciate it, but I do wonder how the shop owners manage to sell low, when sure their prices are increasing also?
Specifically - the grocery and restaurant in tiny Saguache, CO were notably inexpensive. A can of V-8 was $1.39 and a generous spinach salad w/craisins, nuts, feta cheese was $6.99.
My dream house! ❤️
