Finally, some real lessons!
5 days agoThanks, Scott! I did peek back several times and I was tempted to double back. The Anderson journals are an inspiration. Happy holidays.
5 days agoNow you're getting some really useful French vocabulary! :)
2 weeks agoI'm with you 100%. Komoot helps you discover so many new places. But sometimes you wish they had remained undiscovered.
2 weeks agoThese are the best cycling shots. Well done!
4 weeks agoChapeau!
4 weeks agoCongratulations on a milestone day! If you’re ever back in this part of the world you should ride the Nesque Gorge in the other direction. It’s a surreal, sublime experience.
4 weeks agoWoohoo! You did it! Great job!
4 weeks agoCongratulations! Top of the world!
4 weeks agoUnrelenting is exactly it. Climbing with no visual cue of your progress is purgatory. Congratulations on having conquered that climb from Bédoin. Stay tuned, I do make it up Ventoux eventually! ;) I appreciate you choosing to read my journal.
4 weeks agoWhat a compliment! I kept a paper journal while touring, and reading comments like yours motivate me to keep transcribing. Thanks for reading, Kathleen.
4 weeks agoHah you're right, they're an indulgence. I would feel like such a dweeb wearing cycling glasses with my regular clothes. And my sunglasses don't block enough wind/debris when I'm cycling. So I made room for both.
4 weeks agoDo you really need two pairs of sun glasses?
1 month agoI’m thoroughly enjoying your journal. I think I’ll give you the CycleBlaze Prize for Best Photographic Presentation of Food.
I look forward to reading the about the rest of your tour.
Hurray! Well done.
