Did the bull ( or vehicle) already “charge” the arrow out of place 🫣

The placement of the white dot ( probably is a screw?) looks like the bull is blowing bubble gum ;)

I'm not. Our older son rode his bike from Swartz Bay to our relatives' home in Victoria, 35 km, at not much older than that age. He would have been 8 or 9 the first time. Little brother was still on the Trail-a-Bike.

I still remember looking in at a small restaurant (if you can call it that) in Burnaby, BC, where I lived until 3 years ago. “Proudly serving Campbell’s Soup” said the sign. I didn’t go in. Truthful, yes. Appetizing, no.

This reminds me of riding into Dijon in 1992. We turned off whatever minor road we’d been on onto a busier road heading south into Dijon; the map showed no alternative route for the last 17 km. But those 17 km were straight into a headwind. Luckily for me I could draft Al all the way. Unluckily for both of us, this was the end of a very long day that had started with a train ride to get out of the rain in Champagne.

I had an automat pizza in Brittany. I’ve had much better pizza, but I’ve also had much worse!
