Gotta love autocorrect?
1 month agoAnd did you make note of the fact that Camargue horses ARE Unicorns?
1 month agoYes - such an interesting area to explore. It was our first time through this area. We originally intended to go to Les Saintes Maries as recommended by fellow travellers but thought it required some doubling back so we went the more direct route. Next time. Great flamingo and horse shits - I mean shots. Typo!
1 month agoWatched this with the kids again just last week!
1 month agoCaption fail for sure!
1 month agoAnd they are! Party sardines and sailing sardines ;)
1 month agoNot this time. Just 2 city workers. But it is often that we are approached with a question or request by someone who thinks we are official city reps.
1 month agoI did a double take there. Thinking the two fluorescent people were you two!
1 month agoOoh, summer. Might be very busy and lots of vehicle traffic. Still, it is a really fabulous part of the world and should be fun.
1 month agoThis area is just coming on my radar for next summer. I want to walk the walls at Aigues-Mortes, see the flamingos, the cows, and the horses! I'm just hoping it isn't so overrun with tourists as to take the fun out of the experience . . . I'm sure you will see it all tomorrow. I'm waiting for the update!
1 month agoThank you.
1 month agoGreat shot!
1 month agoDodie always gets the credit for all bookings. Usually they are good, this one not so much.
1 month agoIsn’t great after a stressful and gruelling day to reach the comfort of an aromatic hotel.? Who takes credit for booking that one?

I was literally just researching bull fighting in France!
1 month agohttps://www.saintesmaries.com/en/experience/bull-s-race-of-camargue
It is not the same as in Spain/Mexico. The bulls have ribbons and pom moms tied on their horns and the 'raseteurs' get points by removing the ribbons. The bulls have 5-8 year careers, and are then retired. There's no blood shed. I would go see this kind of bull fight, which is called a race in France. But when I tried googling bull race France, even specifying France, it takes me to Pamplona. Ugh.
