1 week agoGood thing you’re already on a plane and away - and leaving from Valencia too and not trying to fly out of BCN where there is now flooding at El Prat! It does seem you skirted disaster all round. Must be very disconcerting indeed to see news and pictures of catastrophe so close by but see normalcy when you look outside the window…
1 week agoI've used Blogspot for a few things over the years--including my first multi-week bike tour. I agree that it isn't conducive to a travel journal that reads like a book, but it works great for my cooking blog which reads more like a monthly magazine. I'll check out your Costa Rica blog and will be interested to see if you find a way to reverse the order of your posts.
1 week agoWe see the King and Queen and PM just kms from here, and getting pelted with mud. Dodie says people were mostly angry with the provincial governor.
Well we are on the plane now, and can shift concern soon to Pacific storms.
