Steve should gave put the explanation in the photo caption instead of above in the text. These are actually one of Lens main tourist attractions-two slag heaps which one can climb, remnants of a coal mining past.

Drinking a lot is very good. If you're able to find some powdered electrolytes to add to your water that will help immensely. Maybe you already do that.

I think you were correct that this refers to a time delay but the same lights are used to indicate where in the wash-rinse-spin progression the machine is at.

I usually look for instructions on the internet when faced with unfamiliar appliances. It looks like this one has 15-minute and 60-minute cycles as well.

They say it is screaming. It has always looked like a screaming face to me…

Yes, maybe 3 or 4 blocks. In the morning I walked them back one in each hand to save time. I did like that the garage they were in had a hose, so I washed off some mud from the previous day.

I was going to comment on the eyelashes also!

Yesterday, did your bikes end up two blocks away? Or did you exercise your muscles? We had to put our bikes across the street once, in a parking garage, but they sure weren't two blocks away! That would make it a little difficult to run downstairs in the morning and squeeze the tires to make sure they are inflated.
