Maybe create a hidden (for now) page you can list them on and then publish at the end...

What a nightmare! I just had a look on Komoot to see if it could spit out something better and it immediately came up with a bicycle path called the B7:Bicivia 7 that took a more direct path to Castelldefels. It's so good know all these things for future planning!
It sounds as though your next entry may be worse though ... yikes

Agreed it looks like invasive apple snail (toxic) eggs.

Wow, beautiful shot! You were lucky to get to see one so close up.

Correct! And actually if you zoom in and look closely he does hve an orangish tinge down there. There’s some variation in their coloration intensity depending on their range and gender.

Fabulous reflections though.

We will make an extra effort to find and photograph some special birds for you.

And keep an eye out for glossy ibis, which you’re likely to see in large numbers but at a distance.

I’m envious. One of our earlier versions of the tour we just completed would have taken us down to the Ebro delta - we even had a place booked there at one point. It dropped off the plan when I had to come back early for my procedure.

Starlings, the ‘normal’ variety - note the spots.

Thank you. We have enjoyed the whole trip, but the last few days have really been pretty special

The last couple of days have been the grooviest part of your tour so far--in my opinion. The scenery, the agriculture, and the egrets are spectacular.

Since we were already middleaged in the 1980's we guess the word has been in use for some time. Groovy is a word from our youth in the 60's. Ah, we remember it well.

Not even close, Gregory. We started consideration at one million dollars, and decided even that would not even come close to convincing us to give it a try.

I like your occasional use of the word "grotty." I've rarely heard that word since the 1980's, and I can safely say that I've NEVER seen it in print. I hadn't even thought about how it was spelled until I saw how weird it looked on your journal. I would have guessed g-r-o-a-t-y.

Anyway, I often throw a few retro words into my journals. "Groovy" is by far my favorite. I use it ironically, of course. HA!
