Yes, exactly. Well, no it was a pen-wrapped miniature roll.
1 year agoBreathtaking.
1 year agoThat's amazing.
1 year agoSurely you took a pencil-wrapped miniature roll(?)

1 year agoThat's alotta Q-tips!!
There's another running total I'd love to see: Q-tips used.
Even two days ago I had yet another coughing fit in the middle of the night. Nasty illness lingering longer than any I've ever had. Don't get it! But now I feel I am on the mend for sure. I'm still sad we didn't get to see you because of the stupid illness. Spring time we will.
1 year agoRelieved your flu/virus/death-grip left you in time to sort out tools and such. Looking forward to sitting on that porch in the spring sunshine with you.
1 year agoYes, I have lists from 25 years ago, pre-cycling days. Those lists are like ancient history and kind of fun to read although startling how much stuff I took on my back. Even the lists from year to year change quite a bit mostly because technology changes quickly.
1 year agoThe list is near and dear to my heart! I have a stack of them from trips, adding and taking away as things change. Once upon a time, an entire pannier was dedicated to FILM and camera equipment. We were stronger then. Sigh
1 year agoYou and Willie and Tiva are some of our favorite fans, you know that. And well you should, because you and W were our original inspiration for bicycle travel. We'll be thinking of you all the time, and wishing we could beam you down next to us for a bowl of bun cha.
1 year agoBon Voyage! I wonder what the hotel cleaning staff think you do with the bags when they discover the sanitary bags missing and needing to resupply the room? I hope they make up really good stories about you two bicycle-riding characters! Wrapping onions in Portland is certainly not on the list of options, which makes it even better!
1 year agoLift off!! Congratulations getting off the ground and out of a wet PNW winter. I love that you go, take it slow, get in better shape along the way, stop often, engage with the kids of all ages, and tell good stories. If we didn't have a little couch warmer, we might be out there exploring the world slowly too, but as it is, we will enjoy riding along through your words and images. Love you two!
1 year agoHa, yes, so true!
