Thank you, Betsy. Sometimes I wonder, since it's a cycling website, how many people appreciate odd things like this.

Great picture of Boof on a Bun Cha mission. It might be the same look I have every time I dig into an Upper Michigan pasty, which is my version of a unique cultural dining experience.

I've never heard the term "bloodstream riding" before. Did you coin it? Either way, your description was perfect, and I can picture you two pulsing your way through the arteries.

This guy was so meticulous. He would gently bend the rotor with his tool and I would raise bike up and he would give the wheel a spin. We did this repeatedly for at least 15 minutes and never a word was spoken between us until he was satisfied and then he said, "Free."

I would guess that Vietnam beats every other country on earth when it comes to motorbikes. It's rather insane and out of control.

As the locals have never seen the numbers on the trees I don't see the minimal signs of Christmas, which is even more refreshing!

Wow! This beats Taiwan. Good luck getting out of the city.

Yes, that’s the tool I was telling Bruce about. SO much better than the hammer handle the mechanic used to straighten mine back in Ferrara this spring.

I love the lighthearted 'guess what is happening' amidst the noise and chaos.

Great photo!

So glad there was food left for you. 🙂

How refreshing to see only minimal signs of Christmas season.

Hi Richie,
Thank you for binge-reading and being such a dedicated fan. I hope we can continue to please. Today we escaped Saigon through the insane traffic (mostly motorbikes). We are headed to the Mekong River Delta where it's more quiet. Stay tuned.

That's hilarious. Thank you for sharing that one.

Yes, I imagine not. I totally agree.
I haven't been to any concentration camps in Europe but I have been to Tuol Sleng Museum in Phnom Penh. That place affected me profoundly. As awful as those places are I come away wanting to help change things for the better no matter how small a way that may be.
